Oh my god, Kate Middleton. I want to be you. Not only are you now a certified princess, but your hair! Your body! Your dress! Your face! Your smile!It's been such a nice day across the country. We've all been out and about having street parties, or indoors with friends. I went to my sister's to join her university friends in a mini party and we waved our little Union Jacks around whilst watching all the vows and every moment of the day. I found myself welling up quite a lot. Kate's dress was incredible! Well done, Sarah Burton. Kate looked so regal, almost like a medieval queen. Queenie looked nice too, in lovely yellow, as did Kate's mum in her blue ensemble, though Beatrice and Eugienie looked awful. One of them (I never know which is which) was wearing a fascinator that resembled antlers. Dear god. Wills was looking as lovely as ever in red, despite the premature balding, and Harry still had his boyish charm in his uniform. He, as Best Man, was hanging around a lot with Kate's chief bridesmaid, her sister Pippa - now that's a romance I'd love to see!
Sorry, I forget a lot of people reading this won't be interested at all in all this British royal rubbish, but it's been such a nice day. BBC and ITV have had round-the-clock coverage and it's all anyone can talk or think about right now. I just have a twinge of sadness knowing Diana wasn't there to see her son marry the woman he loved (a rarity in royal land). Apart from that, the day seemed perfect. Sigh!
Oh, I got my hair done. The hairdressers had never done dip-dye before but improvised with highlights underneath my hair, and I think it looks amazing. It's subtle, but really nice. Everyone seems to like it, so can't complain!
Oh, rahh. What a spiffing day.

The dress was GORGEOUS, exactly how I imagined it would look! I loved pippa's dress too, so sleek and sexy! haha I'm American but i think we all love indulging in watching the royal fun! I watched all of the wedding stuff later on youtube and the entertainment channel. Kate looked soooo beautiful; the dress' shape was perfect, and her reception dress was beautiful as well. I'm so glad your hair came out well! haha I was a little nervous for you since you were the guinea pig! happy day! RaeLynn
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your hair turned out well! My, all of our news stations here in the States were covering the wedding- and some still are! My grandmother was watching as well but I had to go to school :/. Kate looked lovely, the choir music was amazing, and the Pope married them! The freakin' Pope! How awesome is that?! The only thing I don't get is the British hat fashion- some of them are so odd! I heard a news lady say the Brits love hats- but one girl (I have no idea who any of them were, except for Kate and Harry of course) had a ginormous pink...thing...on her head- do Brit normally wear crazy hats like that or is it just for really special occasions?
